Evacuation Chair Training

Hands-on practical training covering both transferring clients into the chair (the difficult bit) & using the chair on the stairs (the  often quite scary...... but easy bit!)

The course covers-

​Risk Assessment/PEEPS

Posture /Principles of Safer handling

Introduction to the chair

Safety Checks

Getting clients into chair (client independence/from wheelchair/  turntable, sit to stand belt, return(if used) lift seat etc

Principles of use on the stairs

Practical chair use on the stairs

The cost is £350(ex vat) per group of up to 10
