Are you aged 16-24, Living in County Durham & currently not in education, training or employment?
Are you considering a career in Care work?
If so….. this course may be the one for you!
Funded by DCC Durham Works ESF this 8-12 week programme delivered via classroom sessions & online, will take you through all the steps you need to obtain the knowledge, skills & qualifications to help you prepare for work in the sector.
We will help you to find suitable vacancies, assist in the preparation of CV's or application forms & help you to prepare for your interview
You will attend training sessions in Consett (2 days per week) & there are also courses & materials available online so you can work from anywhere that has internet access.

You will have to work quite hard
You may find some topics quite challenging!
& there are exams to complete!
You will have plenty of time & support
